Mike Phillips
President

Mike Phillips AIA, IIDA, ASID, is the president and founder of Phillips Architecture PA, a 20 year old multi-disciplinary design firm in Raleigh, NC, named to the PSMJ Circle of Excellence and winner of ZweigWhite’s Best Firm to Work For award for 2007. A registered architect and a certified interior designer, he has coordinated millions of square feet of office tenant design work, specializing in Class A office projects. Phillips has incorporated his more than 25 years of commercial interiors and architectural experience into the development of the industry’s first interactive, online Client Feedback Tool for designers.

Ryan Suydam
Director of Operations

Ryan Suydam joined forces with Mike Phillips in 2000, and quickly began providing innovative technology solutions at Phillips Architecture. In 2003, we began laying the foundation of what would later become DesignFacilitator’s Client Feedback Tool. Ryan has a degree in Architecture from N.C. State University, and experience in many design fields. Currently, he serves as Director of Operations at DesignFacilitator. In this role, Ryan works with clients to help implement the Feedback Tool in their firms. He also manages the development team, using feedback from our customers to continuously improve and enhance the Client Feedback Tool.

Crista Misenheimer
Marketing Director

Crista Misenheimer joined as the Promotions Director for DesignFacilitator in 2007. Her duties include coordinating speaking engagements and exhibit spaces at design conferences, managing sales representatives, and unifying all marketing efforts. Crista has a bachelor’s degree in Housing and Interior Design and has six years of experience in planning and marketing arts festivals.

Eric Sturm
Education Director

Eric possesses broad managerial, technical and academic backgrounds from the military and industry. He served in the Air Force as Master Technician/Instructor and Technical Writer. He then earned his commission and served as an Aircraft Maintenance Officer and Training Manager. In 1993, he joined Cooper-Standard Automotive Company (CSA) as a Senior Process Engineer. In CSA, he developed and operated robotic production systems. Eric joined the DesignFacilitator team in July 2006. Today, he oversees survey creation, verifies the quality of the Client Feedback Tool, and resolves customer concerns. Eric holds degrees in Avionics Radar Technology and Computer Science.
